Goodbye Iceland

Joining Solid Clouds was the best decision I’ve made in my adult life. I’m sad my time here is coming to an end, but these past three and a half years have been a blast. Friends, colleagues, bosses – thank you for making it happen. Bless!

So Long, Friends

Yeah, I thought I’d write a long-ass post when this time would eventually come, but I think that covered my sentiment pretty well. From repeatedly freezing my ass off somewhere in the Icelandic countryside, fighting over meeting rooms with other startups at the incubator, pitching this weird Space MMORTS to investors from around the world, to finally shipping Starborne… it’s been a blast.

While I think a change of scenery was definitely in order, I’m gonna miss my apartment for sure – waking up to see the Atlantic ocean was really something else. Feel free to drop me a line if you’re curious about moving to Iceland!

Hello Switzerland

I’ll be staying in Switzerland for the foreseeable future, and spend that time to catch up with friends and family back home. Sources say that they’re super nice people.

The shift to home office has opened a lot of doors, and I’m exploring a couple of pretty cool options. Haven’t really decided on anything yet, but I’m tempted to try out something way out of my comfort zone for a change.

In other news, I turned Kreidenwerk into an actual company to develop Legion Hearts in an official capacity. Not sure what that means for this blog just yet, but I’m just really glad that Kreidenwerk is finally a thing.
